This post was inspired by the lovely Leah Higgins so please do go and check her post out when you have a moment after this. I was having a read through her posts and she made such a valid point. We are always so quick to comment on the negatives but we rarely shout about our positives. So with that being said here are the 6 things I like about myself.
Wish me luck because this post will be a difficult one for me to write haha! I had to get Chloe to help me at one point because I truly was struggling. Although we got there in the end so without further ado – here’s the 6 things I like about myself.
I’ve got a big heart. If I care, I care with everything I have. Whether that’s with family or friends. Once I care for someone I will do everything I can to make sure they are okay. Sometimes I care too much but being caring will always be a positive thing in my eyes!
I’m funny. Well I like to think I’m pretty funny! My mom always used to say that I have a really dry sense of humour. If I’m comfortable around someone my sense of humour does come out.
I always work hard, sometimes too much. I pride myself on how hard I have worked, ever since my national insurance number came through the door haha! Even if it was working in McDonalds for a little while. No matter what job I’m doing I will always put 100% into it.
I’m super organised! I don’t know what it is but there’s just something so satisfying about everything having a place and being tidy. I was the same when I was living at my moms. Although me and my sister as were total opposites which meant we ended up having to have separate rooms haha.
I’m a good sister. This is an important one for me because me and my siblings really didn’t have a smooth upbringing. With that being said and me being the oldest I wanted to do everything to make sure my brother and sister were okay. It definitely meant that I had to grow up pretty quickly but even though we all argue I’m always going to have their backs.
I’m supportive. It doesn’t matter what it is, if someone close to me wants to do something different or that they are passionate about. Then they will have my full support. I will big them up and shout about it from the rooftops if need be!
There we have it, the 6 things that I like about myself! I must say it really was a difficult one for me to write. It really does show that we don’t talk about our positives as much as we all should. Let me know in the comments one thing that you like about yourself! Let’s celebrate them! Also make sure you go and have a read of the lovely Leah’s post here.
