Cheeky Superdrug Haul!

Cheeky Superdrug Haul!

Superdrug probably has to be my favourite place to shop for all my skincare and makeup bits. There’s so much good stuff in there! I recently took a trip, one that probably shouldn’t have happened but oh well here we are haha.

I picked up some new products that I’ve seen floating about the beauty world recently. As well as a few that I have always loved and just had to repurchase!

Garnier Fresh-Mix Glow Sheet Tissue Mask

Firstly I thought I’d pick up a few new face masks to try. I have seen Emily Canham mention this in one of her videos so I thought I’d see what it’s all about. It is the Garnier Fresh-Mix Glow Sheet Tissue Mask. This mask contains an entire bottle of serum, can you imagine how good that is for the skin?! The mask is enriched with Vitamin C and brightens & evens the complexion. It’s a DIY mix it yourself mask which is pretty funky as well.

Garnier Pure Charcoal Black Tissue Mask

Again, another Garnier mask! I picked up the Garnier SkinActive Charcoal and Algae Hydrating Sheet Mask (that’s such a mouthful isn’t it haha). This mask is a purifying mask that hydrates and also tightens the pores. I am pretty excited to try this. Products that are Charcoal based tend to be some of my favourites. I just feel like it is going to do wonders to my skin… it best do anyway haha.

Simple Face Mask Sheet – Pollution Project

I was very excited about this mask as I love pretty much every product Simple make. I ALWAYS find myself going back to them. This mask is supposedly the perfect antidote to pollution! We hear it all the time do we not? About the damage that is being caused to our skin daily by pollution. Well have no fear! This mask infuses active nutrients into the skin to minimise the drying effect of pollution and instantly hydrates the skin. Also it is enriched with antioxidants Vitamin E and Vitamin B3 which is just great! What I love about simple is that the products don’t contain unnecessary ingredients like perfumes, fragrances and harsh chemicals that could lead to skin irritation. It is perfect for all skin types, even sensitive skin.

Nivea Pure & Natural Moisturising Day Cream
St Moriz Professional Tanning Mousse – Medium

Now let’s move away from the masks because I 100% went a little overboard with the sheet masks (I can’t be the only one though?!). Anyway, I picked up this moisturising day cream from Nivea. This is for normal to combination skin. I have been using this cream for a little while now and it really does moisturise the skin! It doesn’t feel like a super thick cream which is good because I hate that. This moisturiser is just right, it’s lightweight and feels so soft. I love the fact it contains Bio Aloe Vera because that screams soothing doesn’t it?! I think so haha. I would 100% recommend this cream if you are looking for a new moisturiser.

This fake tan! Oh my gosh, I have been using this for years. I haven’t tried that many other fake tan products because I just love this one so much. This is supposed to be a dupe of the St Tropez tan. It is so easy to apply as it has the guide colour which I rinse off the following day. This tan is a mousse rather than a lotion. I don’t know about you guys but I can’t work with lotions, it just does not go well at all. Honestly, I haven’t got a bad word to say about this product. It doesn’t go streaky when I apply it and it’s long lasting. I tend to apply mine on an evening and wash the guide colour off the following day. I use the shade medium but it is buildable and for £4.99 you can’t go wrong.

OGX Weightless Hydration Coconut Water Oil
Maybelline Fit Me Matte & Poreless Foundation – 115

I have been on the hunt for a new hair oil for what feels like forever. I came across this OGX water oil. It is designed to give your hair a dose of hydration in a light spray. I am really liking this product so far. I use it before I dry my hair, I apply a few sprays on the ends. It is supposed to transform dry hair into luscious shiny hair that is full of hydration. I must say I do feel like it does actually do that. It is such a lightweight oil which I wanted. Especially because of how greasy my hair can get when applying products to it!

Yes I know, I know! I am extremely late to the party with this product. However, when it comes to my foundation I always tend to go for a “high end” product over a “drugstore” one. I think it’s just down to my skin being a nightmare and me wanting the most full coverage foundation ever. Now I have tried it I can see why people love it! I would say that it is a medium coverage foundation which you can build on. It is for normal to oily skin and is 100% a matte foundation. The only downside for me is the longevity of it, it states that it’s a 12 hour wear. However, that isn’t the case for me, I do have very oily skin though (nightmare!). I love that Maybelline created 35 shades of this foundation which is amazing considering the shade range some brands have. However, I think 35 is a pretty decent range which can easily be expanded on.

I really do hope you enjoyed reading about what I picked up on my latest trip to Superdrug. Let me know if you have picked up anything interesting recently! I would love to try some more new products. Especially skincare and makeup.

As always thank you for reading & I will be back soon with another post!
