I can’t believe we are already in April! Don’t you think this year is just flying? It feels like only a few weeks ago I was sat at my dads eating my Christmas dinner. Saying that what I would give for some roast potatoes and roast veg right now… oh my gosh! That might just be what I make for dinner tonight haha.
March was a really busy month for me. Not only did I have the pleasure of attending some really cool events which I will go into in a minute. I also had lots going on at work, I did SOOOO much overtime. It got to a point where I was about to pack up and move into the office with the hours I was doing. However, I’m just holding out payday so I can go and treat myself!
However, the little bit of time that I did have to myself was spent with my pals at some blogging events. As you will know I attended the SS19 Fashion and Beauty press event in Coventry with CovBloggers which was amazing (you can see what I got up to here).
Me and Chloe also went on a little adventure to London for BlogCON which was an event that Scarlett put on. Not only did I get the chance to meet lots of lovely bloggers. I also had the opportunity to learn so much from some really inspiring people including Vix Meldrew. Vix was exactly how I expected her to be, she was so lovely and really bloomin’ helpful! All I’ll say is stay tuned for the glow up my blog is about to have with the help from this lovely lady!! So exciting!!
This may come as a bit of a shock I know but last month I kinda gave makeup a rest for a bit. Don’t get me wrong it’s still one of my favourite things to play with and test out but I just wasn’t feeling it. Now whether that’s because I wasn’t feeling myself or just simply wanting to have the extra time in bed lol! Either way I’ve kept it really natural and simple. With that being said I have just been using one of my favourite concealers rather than foundation. I have been relying on my Makeup Revolution conceal and define which I LOVE!
BITS & BOBS
Other bits and bobs that I have been loving are all a bit random this month. Song/Artist wise I have been loving Deno – First Days (Cadet Tribute) and Roddy Rich in terms of artist. I love his song that he’s done with Chip and Yxng Bane called “How It Is”.
FOOD! Well I just love food as a whole but one thing I was craving throughout March was GRAVY! I mean what is that all about please? Now when I say gravy, I think the main reason is because of a for craving Yorkshire puddings & Roast Potatoes, with some thick gravy on top. I think that this was pretty weird considering the only time you’ll see me eating gravy is with a roast. Nightmare when living on your own though! I don’t think cooking a full blown roast for one is appropriate haha!
It’s not food but one thing I have also been loving throughout March is Jimmy’s Iced Coffee’s!! These are my favourite things ever as I am sure you’ll know if you follow me on Instagram I drink them on a daily. Probably not ideal for me but I just love them too much! I swap between the cafe latte one and the mocha!
I thought I would add in my favourite podcast, Instagram account and YouTuber into my monthly round up’s so! My favourite podcast for March would have to be the Exciting Emails podcast from Vix Meldrew. Every time I listen to them I feel so inspired and determined with my blog. I love how frank and genuine Vix is which makes the podcasts really easy to listen to.
Instagram account! This is a hard one because I honestly do have so many that I love. However, one for me that stood out for March would have to be Megan’s (megancolly). Her feed is just so clean! Does that make sense haha? It’s just so lovely to look at and her photography skills are unreal! – make sure you go and give her a follow!
My favourite YouTuber for the month of March would have to be the ACE Family! Who am I kidding though that’s not a surprise is it. The 4 part series that they did was next level and the house! oh my gosh! THE HOUSE that they are building looks insane. It was such a lovely raw insight into how their lives actually are and if you do have some spare time I would highly recommend go and giving it a watch.
That’s it for the March round up I think. I am pretty excited for the rest of April and what’s coming so make sure you pop back in May for the next monthly round up. Let me know in the comments if you did anything exciting in March? I would love to hear all about it!
