Considering April is the month of us all getting excited for Summer, the planning of little trips away and potential holidays. The weather isn’t really helping us get into the Spring/Summer mode at all.
However besides that there are a few things that I am adamant on getting sorted this month. I don’t feel like I’ve lost my way, if anything my life has got better pretty quickly (which is always a plus). However I think a big part of it is the weather, it has been so gloomy and rainy. So weather if you want to start co-operating soon with the season that would be great lol.
01. First thing is not just what I want to do, I NEED to do it. GYM GYM GYM. I can’t even lie I have been so lazy with it these last few weeks. The motivation to go just wasn’t there, which I know is not really an excuse but that is my excuse. I wasn’t feeling it, I didn’t want to go and it really has hit me. Right now I feel so sluggish and unhealthy. So my plan is to really get back into it and find that motivation from somewhere, anywhere I can and hit it 10x harder! – I do actually enjoy going to the gym so hopefully this goal should be pretty easy to get rolling.
02. After leaving my previous job at the start of the year, I found myself in such a rut. I know everyone was thinking what I was thinking deep down which was “My god Ella what are you playing at”, “Why are you leaving a position you worked so hard to get”. (Between me and you) maybe I was thinking the same thing deep down. I was back in a job that I didn’t expect to ever go back to. I knew in myself I needed to seriously get my head into gear and start looking for a new job. What I wanted to do was already clear it was just a case of bagging a new job.
This goal had to be mentioned because I have absolutely smashed it! I am so excited to start this new chapter in my life. I think this is the news I needed to give me that huge rush of motivation that I really needed.
03. Making effort. Now this is something I like to think I always do but after thinking about it I probably could do a lot more of it. I’m talking about making more of an effort with those that do with me. Like those from my school days that I still chat with. We always arrange to meet up but then life gets the better of us both and we never do. I want this to change for sure. Not only just old school friends but making more of an effort with those that care about me the most. Even if that’s just letting them know I appreciate them more than I do now.
04. In terms of my blog, I want to post even more content both beauty/lifestyle related. Hopefully through some travel bits in as well over the next few months. Making my pictures better is something I have been working on lately, I have so many more ideas that I want to try, I just need the natural light to stick around haha.
There’s not too many goals for this month I don’t think. A lot of them are just about getting back into things and improving things that are already in place. Then after that I will look at some getting some of my goals on the get go that I haven’t made happen yet.
