WHAT I GOT FOR MY 21ST BIRTHDAY – HAUL

What an amazing Birthday it has been! I have been well and truly spoilt. Now officially 21! If someone can tell me where the time is going please do haha!

I have had so many lovely presents and I am so grateful for all of them. I thought it would be nice to share with you what I got for my Birthday, I love reading these kind of blog posts anyway so why not.

Firstly, this present I must admit I did have it early but I wasn’t complaining! Me and my AMAZING boyfriend went to Bicester Village when celebrating our anniversary. He did mention if there’s something I really liked we could get it for my Birthday. I didn’t expect to find anything! However after many “Mmm no it’s ok, I don’t need it” comments. I did end up finding a bag that we both really liked!

I have never had anything designer especially not a handbag but now I do. My boyfriend very kindly bought me this beautiful blue Vivienne Westwood Handbag! How pretty is that bag please? I didn’t think I could love a bag so much haha.

As I mentioned in my previous post here, you’ll know that my best friend got me the Too Faced – Born This Way Foundation. However I also got some new make-up that I picked up with some of my Birthday money. I have been debating for ages about trying the Too Faced – Hangover Primer! So I thought I would give this a go and see how good it really is. I have heard a lot of good things about it. Plus the packaging is just so cute.

This little magic pot of powder I have had before. The Kat Von D Lock-It Powder is one of the best powders I have tried. It is so finely milled it’s crazy. I decided to pick up another as I needed another powder anyway so I thought I would stick to something I know well & that is this little beauty!

I also picked up one of the new Urban Decay Hi-Fi Shine Lipgloss’ in the shade Midnight Cowgirl. They were out of stock in Selfridges so I am so glad that I managed to get the last one in Debenhams. I have said before I am not a huge gloss girl. However this one got me straight away! It’s a lovely summery nude gloss, with a tint of glittery goodness to it.

I also picked up another favourite of mine which is the Urban Decay – Razor Sharp Water Resistant liquid eyeliner in the shade Perversion. This eyeliner is so unbelievably black it’s not even funny. You can literally get razor-sharp wings with this bad boy so what is not too love? I have probably been through about 4 of these already.

Of course I had lots of other lovely bits for my Birthday including these amazing handcrafted earrings from ByShona – Encased They are wax paintings that are encased in silver plating with glass covers giving them an amazing 3D effect. I think that they are so unique and they honestly aren’t anything I have ever seen before.

They are so pretty and my favourite colour which is a BONUS! Along with these super cute sterling silver hoops. I don’t actually own any small silver hoops so these are perfect for me to switch it up from my big hoops.

CANDLES, CANDLES and more candles. I really do love candles haha. So as you can imagine I was very happy when I opened one of my favourite Yankee Candles – Vanilla Cupcake in the biggest size you can get! As well as the cute little topper for the candle which I think is such a nice addition.

I also was luckily enough to get what I can only describe as a little house haha! It’s actually a “Wax Melt Warmer“. These are so handy because you can pick any Wax Melt that you want and pop it on top and all you need it a tea-light to do the rest! I also received the Wax Melt – Pink Sands to go nicely with it. I am almost done with all the candle talk I promise! However lastly I got the Yankee Candle – Wick Trimmer. A lot of people don’t actually know this but you are actually meant to trim the candle wick every time before you light the candle. This enables the candle to last longer and it doesn’t create a hole in the middle of the candle so it burns down evenly. Candle do’s and don’t lesson for you all right there!

I also had lots of other lovely presents, some keepsakes and some bits for my new apartment! A trip to Ikea is also due to get some more furniture with the rest of my Birthday money. I am so excited to get the last few bits from Ikea in terms of furniture!

I am so grateful for everything that I have had and like I said before I am a very lucky girl. In no way am I trying to brag about what I had for my birthday. Personally I just love reading these kind of posts so I thought I would do one myself. I have listed all the items I could find so if you were interested in taking a look yourself you can do so.

Thank you so much for reading & as always I will speak to you soon!

Hi there Darl! I just thought I’d say, I’m absolutely loving your blog – it’s bloody brilliant, I’m binge reading! Anyway, besides the point, happy birthday and I’m genuinely stoked you got some amazing bits. The Hangover primer is one of my favourites to be honest – it’s really refreshing but at the same time pore filling and overall blurring which, trust me, on my face, is NEEDED, haha! Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m just going over to read your review of the Revolution X Soph palette! x
    Lots of love,

(P.S: You may wanna think about changing your profile age to 21 on the side there – just a thought… x)
